Course Description

Are you looking to enhance your leadership skills and propel your career in the hospitality industry? This five-and-a-half-day executive program begins with a deep dive into assessing your personal leadership style, helping you identify strengths and areas for growth. Through interactive discussions with peers, you will explore diverse leadership approaches and strategies specific to the hospitality industry, fostering a collaborative environment for shared learning. The program features guest speakers from leading global hospitality companies, offering insights into innovative leadership practices and real-world challenges faced by top executives and Cornell Nolan Hotel School senior alumni.

Midway through the program, you’ll participate in an Executive Hospitality panel discussion facilitated by the Dean of the Nolan Hotel School, Kate Walsh. Industry executive panelists will provide you with an insider view of the top challenges and opportunities facing the hospitality industry.

Throughout the week, you will engage in active leadership activities, putting theory into practice through group exercises and case studies. You will receive expert feedback on your personal leadership style from Cornell University faculty and experienced industry leaders, allowing you to refine your approach and enhance your effectiveness as a leader.
